Burton Leander aims to enable its athletes to meet their aspirations through the provision of excellent training facilities both on and off the water, this includes Olympic weights facilities, Concept 2 rowing machines and quality coaching alongside a full fleet of racing boats. To aid in the analysis of technique Burton Leander has invested in a rowperfect ergometer and the Precision Sport Technique System providing a detailed insight into technique and boat performance.
Club training is aimed at all levels of aspiration from the recreational rower to those who wish to compete at national and international level. Club land training sessions take place on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Weekend club sessions take place twice on a Saturday and Sunday
Junior squad training takes place twice a week on a Wednesday evening f and on a Sunday morning. Junior coaches hold CRB enhanced disclosures. Sessions follow all ARA Row Safe guidelines.
